DEALER lies and unethical behavior posts:
Has your dealer lied to you? Tell others your stories. Has your dealer behaved in an unethical way? Post the details. Do you feel shortchanged during your purchase of your new Camaro? Share the reasons why. Let others that are viewing the forum know what your experience was to protect them from falling into the same trap. Please list your Dealer's name to protect the innocent and so as not to reward the scum. Don't hold back and lets make sure that the boys from GM see what some of these Dealers are doing to the customer. It says right on their corporate mission that they care about the customer, the dealer and its employee's. Well lets let them know what what 1/3 of the equation is experiencing by direct action of another 1/3.

Just make sure you don't identify yourself because if your dealer recognizes you, you may end up with a priority 99 or a cancellation !! J/K

As if they would care anyway! And they have probably already moved way down the line or cancelled themselves because of the actions.....With that said...Dont say anything that you have not or would not say to your Dealer! I just have seen so many statements posted all over the forum about different issues etc I thought it would benefit others to try to consolidate it. Its not all about price gouging its more about the human side. The dealer customer experience.

I was called yesterday and told they were placing my order the following day and I should make any changes ASAP. I went in today to confirm and they said it would be next week now, so I'm guessing they bumped me. I was so excited last night, now I'm totally down. I can't take this much longer, if it happens again, I think I'll have to cancel and direct my attention elsewhere. This sucks.

Your Dealer assigns priority numbers. Then Gm uses those as the orders process thru the Pass One report then onto concensus then into production. Example if you are priority #1 and your dealer has 10 allocated cars. Then when GM gives him a production slot via the concensus as long as your car has no constraints it should go into production first. It is how they are catigorized. Some dealers will go with 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 others will go with 1-2-99-99-99-99-99-99-etc. Then as they get concencus they can choose which ones get built in which order. These priority numbers are dealer controlled. You should maybe talk to them and see what order their orders will be filled to get a better feel about how your order stands. I hope I explained this clearly and obviously I would suggest searching for further threads on this subject but this is how I understand it. Good luck

I dont know if they are screwing with you or not. But if all their orders are #99 then I think it stacks up by order date but I cant say that for sure. I would talk to them and have them change your priority number to the number they told you that you were at when you bought it. It is after all how the system was set up in the first place. Check it out with them and then post your findings as you are not the first one with this question or issue.

Good deal....now you can get that much needed rest. Did you see the thread talking about the CGM status. It is supposed to be coming off constraint within the next 3 weeks if not sooner. So there is good news on the horizon for your order.
