Adm will have 3 basic packages:

Zl700

Zl800

Zl1000

Our testing shows the new Version 2 Race Intake
On the LSA makes big gains at the above power levels.

We set out to build the most powerful
intake on the market for the 2012 ZL1.

Our test car was at the track this past weekend
Making 800+ hp using the new version 2.Dyno data
is all finished up and production is ramping up as we speak.

Any pics or info on how much hp the intake alone adds yet?

Question ZL1 in Sheeps Clothing

In last months issue of GM High Tech Performance Magazine, they took a stock 2012 CTS-V Wagon and straped it to the dyno. It put down 524 RWHP and 521 ftlb of torque! The artical said how this was either a factory "freak" or GM made unlisted unchanges to the LSA. Or do you think their dyno was wrong? What do you guys think? here are some links I found about the subject.

The Catallic Forums.
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums.../t-252805.html

GMHTP site.
http://blogs.gmhightechperformance.c...aph/index.html

They don't have the article posted on the sit yet, but most likley will after the next issue is released.

you can't go by dyno results. They can make them whatever they want.

The only good thing about a dyno is getting an approximation of power and its a good way to show gains with mods, as long as youre on the same dyno with the same conditions.

Absolutly correct. I own www.warroomdyno.com and we have a Mustang MD250 eddy current dyno. Our dyno doesn't put out near the numbers that an inertia dyno does. We don't care because we use our dyno for tuning. But we will have customers get 50 RWHP when they go to a Dyno jet.

The point isn't really whether the dyno is "accurate" It's that the article is stating that the company had dynoed many pre-12 Vs and none had dynoed near that. So they are wondering if GM has made a change to the LSA without adjusting the power ratings. I don't see what they would have to gain by inflating their stock dyno numbers. Most shops would inflate after their mods to make them look better. I guess we will know soon enough whether GM has bumped the power or if this was a fluke dyno that was reading incorrectly.

From what I see, the Dyno is not "STOCK"... is it Stage 1. So, NEITHER of the VOTE choices are correct. The DYNO is not off, and the numbers ARE correct. Both are true. What is NOT true is that the car is stock. It is NOT based on what I found on the links provided. The 3rd choice should be "THE DYNO IS CORRECT BUT THE CAR IS NOT REALLY STOCK".

"In the April 2012 issue of GM High Tech Performance we are showing an ADM Performance Stage I intallation and dyno test."

The Stage I kit in this configuration consists of a LPE 2.55 upper pulley, LPE solid isolator, ADM ported snout, Halltech Stinger Intake and an ADM HO tune.

Comments? I MIGHT be wrong, but above is the quote taken from the article.

Ahh!! Damn. Maybe, just maybe, GM is holding the ZL1's for a small "quality control" issue that results in this same type dyno! Can always hope!

This CTS-V would be over 600 hp at the flywheel...maybe GM was very conservative with their numbers.

Or maybe GM boosted the power of the Wagon due to the extra weight..

there is nothing magical about the process or our court system as it blows. it is what it is. It cost both parties money and because of that a valid claim will usually get settled. In civil court everthing is a rebutable assumtion if you file they have to respond. been on both sides of it.

The MM act has nothing to do with lemon laws or mods done to the car. The act in a nutshell just states that any warranty given by a manufacture has to be honored, as long as the consumer abides by the warranty contract. The manufacture is not allowed to change the warranty, in the middle of the warranty term.

Remember the big thing is, the consumer needs to read and follow the fine print of the contract.
