700 RWHP 2010 SS VS 08 yamaha r1

Title says it. A buddy of mine and myself were talking as he has a 08 R1 with a slip-on and a basic tune from a power commander. My cars built and blown and makes 700rwhp.
From a roll on the highway at like 60 mph who would win?

I'm thinking it would be pretty close, I have destroyed r6's in the past but who knows. My cars a LS3 with 3.45's in the rear.

it could be a close one....but I think the R1 may get you by a hair. I also have an R1 and they are pretty darn fast.....an R6 is slow in comparison to the R1. Just my thoughts. FWIW.
on another note......sounds like you have a very Stout Camaro though!

R1, they can trap in the 140 range with a good 170 lb rider. My stock 2011 gsxr 750 traps 135, only mods are strapped front end and 1 down front sprocket. Has about 30 less whp then a stock 08 r1 as well. Good luck

R1 will win by a pretty big margin. no offense but youll need closer to a 1000rwhp to take out a liter bike there 9 sec cars easily off show room floor

He'd beat you no prob!! 700hp on a car is not enough to hang with those guys!

You'd need to be around a 1000+ WHP to play with bikes like the R1.

The R1 should be faster, but rider ability comes into play big time on bikes that fast.

Also People need to not put a blanket statement on it will take 1000 whp to beat a bike. There are 700 whp hondas that trap 150+ do to there weight. But yes as for the camaro it will take prolly 800 to hang and 1000 to beat them. Also with the less hp on a bike weight really effects its acceleration big time. The difference in a 20 lb rider with the same skill can be quite a big difference. My buddie has a 170+ whp zx10 and only can run a 10.1 to my 10.4 on my 125whp bike. He weighs 240 to my 165.
