Sounds like you either need to wait for the convertible to be out for a couple of months or go to Becky or Camaro Scotty to get one. A lot of dealers probably will try to pull the $3k-$5k over invoice BS for the first 6 months or so.

There are a few dealers out there that are willing to make deal at or below sticker price. If you go in knowledgable and not cocky I have found you can get just below sticker. Just remember these cars are in demand and the inital volumes are small. You are the consumer shop around make the best deal, and say no to deals that really aren't.

Shop around. I was searching for my ride last year and took nearly a month to find someone that was willing to sell the car at msrp, which I was willing to pay. Every dealer in WV and surrounding states that I called wanted anywhere from 3-8k over MSRP which I think is CRAZY! I even had one local dealer go into a big long story about how they are going to the auctions and buying them for 5k over MSRP so they have to sell them for 8k over... WTF ever!!! He said we have the most Camaros of any dealership east of the Mississippi. I told him I hoped he enjoyed looking at them in his lot every day cause he wasn't going to sell me one. Just keep looking and I'm sure you'll find someone willing to sell for MSRP or possibly a bit lower even. Good luck.
