The Project II
Ah, as spring begins to grace us with decent weather, (and then takes it out from under us and slams us with freakin cold weather crap) the animals are lively... the plants are budding... the smell of new life is in the very air around us... unless you are me................................................ .........................
.......then its just the smell of diesel fuel, blown C-15 twin turbos, slimy grease, and all the other fine things that a big rig shop has to offer. Since the start of my "Motormaster" project on July 2nd 2008, I have consistently been keeping track of how well the project was going with a few visits a week to the shop... but now that it is crunch time and I am planning on being at BotCon 2009 in Pasadena, CA, its time to burn that midnight oil. It isnt unusual to see me at the shop til stupid hours of the night cross referencing part numbers and ordering replacement pieces 5 nights out of the work week. I have to say, in a way it is fun... but also stressful as crap... but our labor is paying off, for we have made a great bit of progress on the truck since the last time I posted... So here is the update... Custom airbrush work complete Intakes/Exhaust preliminary mounting near complete Full fiberglass fenders installed, measured and flamed up Replacement Interior, custom hardwood floor, and other interior pieces on site and ready to install Custom louvered grille completed by the Boyz at Chrome Shop Mafia All new air horns, L.E.D. lights, steps, indicator lights, gauges, courtesy lights, vents, heater/AC cores, on site and ready to install plus lots of others too many to name... but here is the good stuff... PICS! [IMG][/IMG] |
