how many passes on DR's?

so the plan is to grab some M/T drag radials. my question is how many passes on average are u guys getting on these before you need new ones? i mean i at 370 bucks a tire i dont wanna have to buy new ones every month lol. On friday i got 15 passes in one night.

It's not the passes the kill a DR. It's how hard you burnout with them. If you don't melt then you can get 100's of passes. If you do long burnouts youll get 50. Each manufacture has a guideline for burnout procedures that work for that particular tire.

I have 10 passes And 5,000 mile on mine

Do a 3-5 sec burnout then roll out

Back in water box spin tires for like 1 sec
Then pull forward out of box
Then do ur burnout

Just for the track... How often will you go in a year? I think you'll get a few years out of them.

It's addicting. My guess is you'll get 150/200?? or so on a set but it's so hard to predict. Time will tell.

yea 305's are the plan.

and these will be the wheels, just ordered them tonight actually. went with 19's

yea, it was a trade off. $60 per wheel. couldnt say no.
