Nice pics...thanks for the sharing. I was at the show yesterday and didn't eve think to ask for the hood open...nice. Maybe because I couldn't stop drooling so maybe she thought I had issues!

Have to say the car looks REALLY good in that color in person. The entire car exudes power and muscle!
..and the inners fo the steering wheel. I am confidently optimistic that GM has a better wheel interior in mind for us and are waiting to reveal...

I believe that the unfinished features, like exposed hoses etc. could be cost cutting measures to keep the car at a cost effective level. Its not uncommon for a camaro to have rough spots here and there for the sake of affordability. As long as chevy can deliver this one for a hair under 50k then I say bring on "rough".

Great pics, thanks.

This is my first post here (been lurking for a while now) and I have to say I am SO FREAKIN' EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW ZL1!!! Ok...I'll stop shouting now. I will have one, in black and the license plate will say....wait, I ain't giving that away in my first post until I get it secured.. LOL! I was going to get a 2SS, in fact I just test drove one last week, but after reading about and seeing this beast I'm gonna wait with drool dripping until the release of the ZL1!!

Thanks for the Camaro-porn CE!! Those were awesome!!

Can't buy it unless it's 50k or less and I really want to have one!

Does anyone know how much (if any) discounts a 40 yr+ retired GM executive employee discount would apply to this? I have a close family member looking to purchase one.

this is a complete styling FIAL!!!! front is not tough lookin at all compared to the 2011 shelby gt500....and the hood is ugly, and the sideskirts are cheap plastic looking...the steering wheel has got to be a joke...and the back end looks just okay. it better out-perform EVERYTHING! or else it is a true fail.

anyone else think they could have designed the exterior a million times better!?

I was there - asked the girl how much it was, and she said well it's got the same engine as the CTS-V, so it may be around that.

No, besides the stacked foglamps, I think it's perfect. Just the right amount of aggression and restraint in the styling.
