Issues with my Camaro 2010 AutoMatic Transmission 2SS/RS

Hey Guys!

I think this is my first post in this forum , i had some questions regarding some issues i got with my camaro .

1-Shift Lock on Transmission the small button on the Shift handle that allows us to move from P to R to N to D to M . Well it works Fine on P / D / N , but on the R & M positions it doesnt pull out of handle properly so you're still able to move the handle without it locking you from it .

2-I bought the car used , and was involved in a crash but i really don't know what they've done to it , since the airbag lights aren't ON at all , passenger air bag light is also off, the airbag module is there , and airbags dont read on OBD . NOt sure what to do or how to check if airbags are there and just needing some flash .

Cheers

I would pop the little cover on the shift knob and remove the torx screw. Once you remove the knob, there should be a little up and down black unlock lever on top of the shifter. See if it works without the shifter first.

I would be hesitant to buy a wrecked vehicle nowadays with everything that could go wrong.
