Rear Fascia Swap Possible???
Do you think it would be possible to replace the Z/28's rear fascia with a '12-'13 rear fascia from a ZL1? Do you think the connecting points would have changed from the earlier version to the '14? The more I look at the rear of that car...the more I just do not like it. It would be awesome if a good body shop could put the old fascia on the Z/28.

You will have to also change the trunk lid since they have a different shape around the tail lights and no indentation between the tail lights on the 14.
It will get very expensive very quickly, unless you could find someone with a 10-13 that would swap parts. Another thing to consider is the lighting harness will probably be different.

Just so you know the z/28 everyone has seen is a 2013 2SS. The car was disassembled and the z/28 parts added. I know this because I just looked at the car a talked with Scott (fbodfather). The vin started with a 2 meaning Canadian plant and had d9 I the vin for the year. I also ask him about the front fascia. Yes it will fit but you need the new lights also.

Why would you want to do that? Make a new car look older? That's dumb!

LOL!! I don't appreciate the "dumb" comment. I think the rear fascia on the '14 model Camaro is ugly. If I have the option of buying a previous model fascia and replacing the current one to suite my taste in what I think is appealing I believe that is my choice and to call it "dumb" reflects poorly upon yourself.

Why don't you just buy a 2013? Save money and get that fine ass end you desire. I agree, the 2014 ass end looks 1997 Honda Prelude, but I wouldn't get a newer car and add older shit on it, just me. (On a side note. I think GM was on crack when they did the facelift on our Camaros. )
