As awesome as the Z/28 is, in my eyes AND THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION, that is 2 seater lightweight sports car money, or... 'vette money. I have no doubt it will sell out though and that is what matters.

Has GM covered all the possible bases now or is there something else to maby look forward to?

What's next?

I'd love to see the SEMA V8 Concept as the next Special Edition. It would definitely help with those who wanted a Z/28, however could not afford.

No doubt this will be an amazing car but 75k seems pretty steep. I wonder how much faster this would be around a track than a z51 vette.

For my money I'd rather have a 1LE if I wanted a backseat and a Vette if I didn't.

The Stealership I worked at in 1993 was adding huge markups to the Z28
then again with the Impala SS a year later.

I'm sure the Zed is gonna roll out the door over $100,000 cdn with the extra dealer markup .

If you have the bux I say get one .

Who do we think is going to test drive the car first. Clarkson, Hammon or May?

Hammond is the secret American so probably him. That being said, none of them will like it. They are racist against American cars for the most part.

Jeremy would probably rather have a Golf GTI.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I am sure the car is amazing and will kick butt. Too bad though, I might have traded the Roush in for the Z depending on real face interior/exterior appearance.
My Roush came with a $1,500 gas guzzler tax charge.

The bigger question might be which one will wreck if first, LOL.

I can hear it now..."nice power but lacks refinement. The BMW whatever is a much better car."

Those of you posting about dealer markups...you do understand how that is making you look? Right? Serious buyers negotiated their deal in writing a long time ago. I'm sure for those who have waited to work a deal until pricing was released, using something called "initiative" they can hit the phones now and still work an in-writing MSRP deal.

If you are unwilling to lay the groundwork, then you haven't earned the right to avoid being gouged with a mark up.

Simply having a strong sense of entitlement doesn't gain you any benefits in society.

Whining and complaining is making you look...like whiners and complainers.

Think about it...

Well, more than I expected. But, if I had my old job I'd be calling every dealer I knew of to get on the list to get one. I think it's worth it.

I still think there's nothing cooler than a 427 Camaro.
