L99 Base line 1/4 mile times
Went to E-town last night and got 3 run's in
Bone stock 2.08 60ft 13.25 @ 106.21 mph Tuned 2.00 60ft 12.95 @ 108.89 mph It spun a hair on the last pass .. Now it's time for our staged package's Stay tuned .. Thanks Matt .. |

Matt, what was the DA on the stock and tuned times...
If it doesn't rain I'm running my L99 tonight!! Bone stock 500 miles on it...then mods begin. Did you use HPtuners or Live? And if you did use HPtuners, are the bugs worked out in the beta' or do you think there is more left in the tune once HP gets the bugs ironed out?

I'm thinking they got rid of the TM and adjusted the shift speed/RPM.
WOW! These are great times. I may have put my foot in my mouth in another thread (won't be the first or last time, lol). I can't remember off the top of my head, but was it you guys that were in a GMHTP issue several months ago with a G8? Regardless - great driving and great improvement

I should get a stock run on L99 saturday night prior to mods.
Have you tried with and without tap shift. I'm wondering if tap shift will really gain anything on the track. With TM it's a bit slow and unpredictable... Thoughts? |
