RFID Ignition System
Hey guys. I had a simple question about setting up my ignition in my car to work with an RFID card (Radio Frequency Identification).
Now I have the RFID bit completely figured out. The system is setup just fine, and it setip so it omits a +12v current thru the cable I have setup, for as long as the RFID tag is next to it. So basically, how could I set this up so that the car wont turn over, until that +12v current is flowing? Preferably without a key, if I can somehow store a key inside that would enable this car to run ONLY with that 12V current, then that would be idea. Heres a few example videos. These guys have some RFID chip implanted into them or something crazy. but I just want something on my keychain. I figured this should be pretty easy... Thanks guys!! P.S. I would actually prefer it if whoever wanted to start the car ONLY required the RFID card/tag/implant/button to start it. So if that requires having the key stored somewhere inside the car for the ECU to read the signal or whatever from the key, thats fine by me. |
