So, someone scratched/dented my Camaro

So I'm cleaning my boat when someone runs over to me and says, "someone messed up your car" and the I hear that awful scratch noise. The driver scratches my parked car and I go meet him at his car door greeting him with a "hey, how's it going? Soooooo, you just hit my car." He had no idea and so my
Insurance company requires I get a police report. Long story short his insurance is paying for the fix. Below is a picture of the damage. Scratch, slight slight dent. What do you guys think will need to be done? Any local people to Maryland have any good auto body places in mind. Let me know! Thanks! Did I also mention I just bought this car? It's still got temp. Tags on it!

That looks to be about $1000.00 repair. My wifes Malibu got hit by a shopping cart at walmart. Just a dent without any scratches but the dent was exactly like yours and it was $600.00. Amazing how much it is to have car repair done these days.

painting the bumper will be about 700. Couple hours for the dent at shop rates call that 80 an hour, then the paint for the fender, but luckily they will probably have more paint than needed for the bumper. So yeah I'd guess a grand.

And that sucks. I'm going through a not too dis-similar thing. On the 4th of July week so no chance of even starting the repair until next week. I know just how you feel Echo.

if you are anywhere near Annapolis I HIGHLY recommend Gott Auto Body. They have done some body work on mine when it was hit in front of my own house, painted my rally stripes, painted my front bumper splitter. They do VERY good work and are reasonable on price as well. Sorry to hear about your car.

Slight dent?? I'd opt for a new fender panel. All told should be at or under $1000 plus no body filler or extra labor costs involved in prep work. Pretty straight forward repair.. People need to wake up and pay more attention.

That's funny, cause the issue actually happened in Annapolis. Well, south river.
