I'm curious if the 1LE package will be instantly available on the 6th Gen Camaro, or whether it will be later on in its model cycle.

They could take 100lbs off the nose of their cars if they would start building the blocks out of aluminum. I have no idea why they are so stubborn about this. It would still take more than that but 100lbs off the nose would be a huge start and a big help in acceleration, handling and mpg.

I really don't get it, either. They seemed to be fine for DD use during my test drive (admittedly I didn't really push the car to its limits as it had only about 20 miles on it, although it handled better than I expected considering the size/weight of the car and the skinny-ass tires), though I wish they made the 275/40/20 setup that the SRT 392 has standard available as an option for the Scat Pack...

Definitely going to look into wider rubber/wheels once I get mine, however (wonder how wide a tire I can squeeze onto the factory 20x9"s?)...

Don't mind if the cars lost a bit of weight but the Interior of the Camaro is tight now for me backseat is cramped, Mustang had a backseat that you could not even sit in for 2014, have they improved the seating in the 2015 or is it worse for head and legroom. I guess if I was 5' and 120lbs it would not matter.

Challenger has 3 inches of leg room in the rear over the mustang a little over 2 inches of head room over the mustang.

I think there is a good chance we can see the 1LE for the 1st year since the Z51 package was available then for Corvettes.

3.91's not 3.92's (that trans and diff are set up for Autocross just like the tires) and the tires are crap for the strip. Great for the Autocross. But listen when the cars were compared in 10 catagories the Camaro won 8 of them the 1/4 was lost by 2/10 of a second (That can be driver) and the interior well Ford can have that for now.

So carry on...

Camaro will loose by more than 2/10 of a second one guy has run stock 392 Scatpack to 12.2 in the 1/4 with just a couple on the road. I will take the Challenger fastest in the 1/4

I have the Challenge RT right now so a 2015 392 would make mine look slow on the straight and in the corners. Most of my driving is straight with some curves so ya I'll take the Challenger. Faster than the Camaro I'm thinking that you will see the 392 in the 11's with minor mods

Yeah there's no 5th Gen Camaro in the 11's.

Question, isn't Scat that weird porn where they crap on each other's mouths? LoL

Also have the Dodge guys ever figured out how to unlock the ECM so they can tune the car?

Which had the least horsepower?

And your 392 gear selection was a Freudian slip (corrected).

Non-OEM tires, and Automatic. Try telling the whole story, for once. 6-speed scat pack was tested @ 12.9 - 113 mph. 1LE times. Right? Apples-to-apples-to-apples, trans-wise, there's a 10th between all three.

Equip all 3 with drag radials and 3.91's-2's whatever. No contest, but let us all know about the superior handling and ride of the Camaro. The Challenger would win with 4 full grown adults on board.
