RX breather cleaning

Is there a certain way I should be cleaning my breather filter? I've had it on a few months and figure it's due but have no idea how to do it. Thanks for the help.

Ben

I USE MY AIR COMPRESSOR AND BLOW IT OFF PRETTY REGULARLY. THAT WILL HELP TO PROLONG BEFORE YOU HAVE TO USE A CLEANING PRODUCT.

This breather doesn't have to be oiled after cleaned and dried, does it? I would assume not.

Excellent, thank you. I was hoping that was the case because it was dry as a bone when I purchased it new.

Did you do this to clean it? I thought about taking apart my breather and switching the filter to a black one so the oil won't be seen much on the white filter but if I can just clean it every now and then it would make things a lot easier....knowing me I would break the breather trying to take it apart.

Yes, that's quote on quote what Tracy sent me. Also you might want to look into the drilling orifice mod bc that should solve getting back to the breather/filter
