steering wheel issue
hey guys, i recently test drove an 01 the other day, and noticed that while i was driving, the steering wheel was kinda tilted off to the one side, i forget which, but i was going perfectly straight and i looked at the steering wheel and i scared myself bcuz i thought i was going to drive off the road, when i was really going straight.
i had always figured this was just a cosmetic annoyance, but can whatever this problem is called, can it effect your car for the negative? |

It usually means that the wheels where aligned and they didn't check the steering wheel before finished.
Or the car had suppension work done and didn't align properly.

i had the same problem with my 1LT... notice that a few weeks after I got the car.
you should bring your car back to the dealer (service) and tell them your steering wheel is "off-centered". they will fix it in no time. |
