hey guys, i recently test drove an 01 the other day, and noticed that while i was driving, the steering wheel was kinda tilted off to the one side, i forget which, but i was going perfectly straight and i looked at the steering wheel and i scared myself bcuz i thought i was going to drive off the road, when i was really going straight.

i had always figured this was just a cosmetic annoyance, but can whatever this problem is called, can it effect your car for the negative?

It usually means that the wheels where aligned and they didn't check the steering wheel before finished.

Or the car had suppension work done and didn't align properly.

i had the same problem with my 1LT... notice that a few weeks after I got the car.

you should bring your car back to the dealer (service) and tell them your steering wheel is "off-centered". they will fix it in no time.
