Went to Oshawa to look for my Camaro! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

After three months I finally got tired of waiting for my car and decided to go to Oshawa to see if I could find it! On Saturday I drove up to the factory to see if I could spot it in the lot. They all kind of look the same and there were a LOT of them there but no luck making a positive ID. Thought I'd post a few pictures that I took through the fence in case you guys want to try to spot yours. In the first picture you can see them loading them onto some train cars. It looks like some of them are white in the pictures but those are silver. I didn't see any white and very few V6's but it was a lot of fun to be that close to the action.

Still don't understand why they will only factory install certain stripes and not others. If you ordered your car with them, they should come on the car

I don't see ANY with stripes installed. In fact I've heard that all the 'factory' installed ones are done where I live in Windsor, Ontario 400km from the factory. Not sure if that's true though.

your right..check a window sticker.. it says handling charge from the factory to ground effects LTD in witby ont and back to the factory.. that's kind of what is typed on my window sticker and the only options I ordered was the white stripes and polished wheels....Mine was built on 07/29 and put in 4b on the 30th and then on 08/01 it was put in 4D...hopefully thats because it came back from getting striped...I'm hoping it goes to 4200 tomorrow
