ZL1 to status code 4104 - awesome!!
Received notice my car with VIN is up to 4105 - ready to leave plant property - Ashen grey in color with exposed CF weave too. Grey cars were indeed the first ones built - damn I can hardly type I'm so excited. Just like being 16 years again when I bought my first Z28.

Here are the dates and elapsed time for the ZL1:
01/24/2012(3400) Order Broadcast (internal plant paperwork order produced). Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together. 01/27/2012(3800) Order produced and vehicle is being prepared for shipping. For Cadillac, GMC and Buick customers, please contact your dealer or customer service for further updates as no further updates available at this time. 01/27/2012(4000) Vehicle available to ship. 01/27/2012(4104) Bailment invoice created (vehicle is about to leave plant property).

Just because the car is built does not necessarily mean the car will leave anytime soon. I've heard the ZL1's may sit for quite a while in QA so while it's good news, I don't expect to see the car for a while. Chevrolet has built quite a few ZL1's before this point, so they may have already addressed mass production issues - we'll see!!
