I saw the show, it sucked, the ZL1 scene was a race through a cornfield. Yes a 7' tall cornfield. No highway scene for the ZL1. The ZR1 had some great Highway scenes. Never thought Arnold would stoop to this level, but the Z's were pretty cool.

Also - no way a 6 ft something guy can get in/out of a camaro while being shot at and look graceful.

That's why, when you look close enough, you'll notice a different stance and wheel on the car altogether.

Interestingly enough, the car that ends up being crashed in the "Last Stand" scene (no pun intended) was also a 1LS with no motor/trans in it that they pulled using a neat catapault contraption to get it up to speed.

The crashed remains of the car were on ebay for a while at a towing yard in LA.

I've said too much.

I saw the movie and there is a legitimate ZL1 for all of ten seconds in two shots. Every time the car actually moved, it was a clone. The SS wheels and headrests. There is a close up face shot of Arnold and you can clearly see the SS embroidered headrests. The bad guy drives the ZR1, but already stated, they race through a corn field.

that movie was shot before the ZL1 was done? is that why they did not have a complete car? you know they could get the money back at auction with a real ZL1 if it was in the movie. yes i did see the rear wheels where not wide like a ZL1.

You know that $60k is nothing for that movie and they could destroy most all of it and still get their money back.
