This is what really scares me when it comes time to replace my tires.

Not only that, it's not rocket science. It just takes someone who cares about what they are doing. People who care are gonna understand how important your wheels are to you and they will take care of you.

They do seem to be pretty fragile. Finish and structuraly.

If you believe me, then my wheels weren't right from the factory or shipping from the beggining.

If you belive Tu, at Savini, then I kept knocking them out of round every time I put them on.

Either way, they weren't holding up at all.

They've held up since though.

Is that frowned upon? Because if I knew for one second that that was not appropriate, I would not have done those jumps.

Hey all,

Appreciate all the feedback on these wheels. I've been shopping around now for a couple of weeks and the one thing I couldnt get past was not being able to see something in person.

This is a prefect example of when its better to buy something IN PERSON vs. some internet shop from who-knows-where. Not bashing any vendors here, but I know a local "brick-n-mortar buy" makes me a little more comfortable.

Now, I'm lucky and have all sorts of high end wheel shops in the area. But for any other rednecks out there might not be so lucky. In that case, use your C5 cousins to help out and be your eyes! =)

Best of luck to ALL of you with your wheel problems. I know I wouldnt be so patient!! I'd be on a plane with 4 checked boxes and baseball bat!
