Leave early on the 31st. To meet up at Dayton Oh around the same time, we will stagger departures. I will try to do it so we can all eat dinner when we meet up. Afterwards, a cruise on to Indy.

That will make it a 13 to 15 hour drive for me. I am not to happy with that idea. I may need to rethink my plans.

I ran back from Indianapolis to Charlottesville in 8.5 hours last year, and that was with fuel stops. Headed south from Indy and then east across WV to 64 into Virginia. But, ate on the run, so no big stops. 9.5 with a decent lunch break in there. 13 hours sounds about right as a max to Chesapeake. Going 64 through WV is a faster route I think.

i did it last year 3 times.. one for the Indy 500 track lap with 3 other camaros, other was camarofest... and the last one was just to visit my parents |

Are we going to link up in Dayton, or just get to Indy?

Don't have worry about it now, but we need to designate a time window for the linkup in Dayton. It is about a 7 1/2 drive for Northern VA and from Fredericksburg.

Myold88, I Drove It Back To Fredericksburg From Indy Last Year. It Was A Smooth Ride, And With Smaller Groups We Had More Consistent Speeds. I Would Say 10 To 11 Hours With ShoRter Meal Stops. It Really Went Pretty Smooth With Others Cruising With You.
