Real Afterburner Lights Mod

11-14-10 updated pics post #14, of wiring

ok, just finished doing my rear seat footwell lighting,
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110986
so i had my rear seat out and side panels, so i decided to run some power to my rear facia to put some light in the back. well i found a nice place to mount them to give a Real afterburner effect, i have a couple of other ideas but this turned out pretty cool. check it out. now this worked out pretty good b/c i have the razzi ground effects that i just installed also, i drove a couple of hours so far, no heat concerns yet. the factory facia provides some protection from the muffler.

That's almost too much light but I like where the idea is going...with the light shining out around the exhaust tip.

I agree.. If you could somehow make the light shine only around the tips that would be perfect. Nice work none the less.

thx guys, the pics came out real bright, i am not a camera guy. if you look at the reverse light and license plate lights you can see how bright they look, well there not that bright. the lighting under the car does not shine that bright either. i will try and get some better pics later. thx for looking.

You can probably get away with that in SA because of the weather and no corrosion, but up here in Chicago, that would corrode in one winter.

It's tasteful. Not very
