You guys do realize the offsets on the ZL1 fronts are not the best, as far as tucking in. The wheel sticks out too much, even with a really narrow tire on it. You are much better off going with custom wheels.

Fixed.

Who gave you this info? Stopped and looked at a ZL1 and looked the same to me. I did not measure the car but look realy close. All part numbers seam to match the SS, if I am missed something let me know.

...but isn't the 1LE going to have that little bit of stick out as well with the SSX(ZL1) rims on it? That's an SS car

My mistake, you guys are right. I thought they weren't the same because I thought there was no way wheels would stick out that much on a factory car. as you can see in this picture they stick out a bunch on the ZL1 also.
They work just fine, but I don't like any stick out at all on my cars. Hell, I sold my wheels because I bought too wide of rear tires and they stuck out about 1/8". It's just a personal preference.

Well we all know that your vert is sick! Yeah, I don't want a lot of sticking out either but it seems manageable for me since I really like the SSX rims! lol

I think the sticking out makes it look even more aggressive and I don't mind it. Actually I like it.

That said, the ZL1 has the extra moldings on the side to deflect rock chips that the stock SS and LT cars do not have....and also I'd go with some replicas that are the same as stock so I could re-use my stock tires.
