I picked up about 11hp & 13tq with the Solo HFCs.
I have the same setup on mine, but have not dyno'd after the HFCs. I was at 341rwhp with just the CAI. Have you tuned yours?

I have not tuned...still on the fence about that.

I was expecting more from the Solos but I am still happy with them because of the cars sounds 50 times better than without them!

I am thinking of shorties though if I decide not to tune.

Your dyno numbers are fine and being measured in SAE. A click of the mouse and you could have added 15-20 RWHP by making your reading being conducted in STD.

The last couple days Ive seen guys get dyno's done and post them in SAE and it looks like no low end tuning was done. it was all WOT tuning by the graph. Then to make it worse then next day a new dyno graph is posted in STD with a higher number.

Thanks Phil,
good talking to you again thanks for the explanation, I was pretty sure there was a simple reason.

No problem. The car doesn't make more or less HP per say, its just the method of measurement that giving the final number.

There's six types of "correction methods" and five smoothing factors.

Most shops use SAE or STD with a smooth factor 5

I think your numbers are fine. That's pretty similar to mine, although I have a different supercharger. Mine always dyno'd a little low from the beginning, but it goes like hell. Even with fat tires out back, she's still traction limited.

Throw my dyno numbers in the mix

502rwhp, 471rwtq (conservative tune for long term reliability). Dyno done at 85,100 mile mark. Dyno done with 22" wheels not sure what it would be with stock 20's.
Kenne bell s/c, 2.5" Corsa-catback, tr6 plugs and thats it....

Does this seem right? Stock manifolds, with no cats, x pipe, and New Era OTR intake with an email tune. Oh and it's an L99.
