Russ Sorry to talk up bad luck about tranny issues, hopefully is wasn't me that did that. I was going off my nephews car issues except his rear went first, but then again he has 850.

It looks like the tranny wont be the weak link now and I will be interested to see what happens now when you put the hammer down. I have been told be the local mechanics around here that my tranny is next, or clutch and I only have 463. Of course I told them they are crazy, hard to tear it up when you baby it, LMAO.

I'm sure a clutch is in my future but hey that is why you have these cars is to have fun with them.

No biggie at all. When you asked the damage had already been done. It's the risk you take when you add this much power.

Hey my best friend Kenny saw you driving this weekend and he thought you were me because of the lights but when he saw your rims he realised you weren't. He said he guessed someone made you mad and you passed like 3 cars like it was nothing. He was very impressed with your camaro, and said that your car is LOUD and beautiful. lol.

That couldn't have been me, cause I never exceed the speed limit.

Two updates.

1) The transmission feels great. Shifts are quick and responsive. Still babying it for a few more miles, then I'll take it to the track.

2) 18" Forgestars are on the truck for delivery!

Well...the wheels came in, but they were gloss black instead of matte. Tony's going to have them picked up and get me the right ones.

Bummer. I'm sure Tony will take good care of you though.

I was hoping to have something better to read about than the noob thread about missing SS badges... oh well, back to tormenting them...

Did you order the Forgestar's for the rear or for all 4? If all 4, did you get 18s all around?

I went ahead and ordered 18s all the way around (18x10 and 18x9). Going with Mickey Thompson 305/45/18s on the rears and Nitto 265/50/18s on the fronts.
