TPower, my hat is off to you. I am very impressed by your driving prowess. This car is meant to be driven and you are showing all of us how it could be done. Drive safely.

Having owned a Z06 with the previous generation Goodyear Supercar tires, I am not surprised at 10k you need a new set. The price we pay for performance.

Ok guys, are y'all ready for some painful math? Let's say you drive like a easy goin granny and you get 15k miles out of your tires. At $1700 a set by the time you reach 100k miles you will have spent approximately $11,333 on tires. This is not good for the 1LE guys either. I knew it was gonna be bad. I'll just try to forget this post.

I've had Michilen Super Sports since day one, done about 50 burn outs and one full day of road racing and they still look great. Have 4'000 miles on them.

Have 2 vetts and a 2000 SS . Pilot Sport gives you longer life and better traction in all 3 cars (I dont do runflats). I havent had these new Goodyears long enough to tell you they have improved but 10k = new tires (If you really drive the car) maybe 15k if you balance and rotate them regularly.

I am very happy with this tires. They have amazing grip when warm. To pull 1.15g on street legal tires on city roads in a 4100 lb car is extraordinary. You get harder tires, you lose grip - that,s it. A 200 rating will usually get you 7000miles *2=14000 miles. If you track them you obviously get less so 10000 is not bad.

$535 per tire? Ouch. I'd hate to get a nail in the sidewall and have to replace those. How many of you guys got the Tire Road Hazard protection?

I did. I might run over some nails just as it gets time to buy some new ones...

I didn't, but I'm starting to think maybe I should have.
