Spark Plug Wires?
I just bought a set of BBK stainless steel 1 3/4 headers with cats and i was wondering if i need to get a new set of spark plug wires that have a higher heat rating or if the factory ones will hold up.

Are you sure you aren't talking about spark plugs? Your wires will be fine, but when you go to get tuned you may experience some spark knock from the OEM plugs. When my car was tuned, I had to switch to TR6's because I had too much spark knock on the dyno.

Granatelli makes some nice 0 ohm wires that have additional heat protection for headers.

MSD wires will be fine, no need for expensive wires. Definitely no need to switch to a colder plug. Your stock plugs are your best bet.

Granatelli wires rock. Had them on my L99 and they helped clean up my exhaust tips, much less carbon than before. I take that is from giving more spark causing a better burn.
