Best bra

On bra #2 and still junk. Im looking for a bra that's easy to put on, no fender clips or junkie Velcro. I'm just wanting it for long trips. Any suggestions?

Best bra is always no bra in my opinion...

...but seriously. I have a Colgan Custom and its phenomenal for long trips.

Edit sorry I see you dont want fender clips for some reason. Never mind. You'll have to go with some cheap thing in that case.

Out of curiosity, why?
I'd love to know your reasoning..

Some people avoid it out of fear of paint mismatch between the covered panels vs rest of the car after a couple of years.

Couple of others I know go through a few years and maintain via touch ups for stone chips before they either get rid of the car or repaint the front portion again.

I don't have any installed either, but having to touch up the occasional chip every couple of weeks does get annoying over time..

The first part was a joke about lady bras...it clearly didn't land.

And this thread is about bras, not clear bras. So yeah...

Edit: By the looks of it OP it seems like you have a heritage grill and i have yet to see a bra that can fit the heritage grill except that stretch one that is sometimes shown in the vendors section.

Ah... : )

OP, I remember seeing this a while back:

http://www.autoobsessed.com/shop/gri...898-p-457.html

It does have a messy finish (based on the description) but may be something you'd want to look into...

I would think that a lot of dirt and particulates would get stuck under the bra and cause more harm than good... Never used one Personally, anytime something is touching my paint I cringe at it.

Clear bras are stuck on with adhesive. Kind of like a thick clear wrap. Nothing can get under them once there stuck.

I was talking about the big leather like ones.

EDIT: :dumb: I see your confusion. I was thinking clear bra was the best solution when I typed that. I really didn't mean to type that. Edited it to what I really wanted to say.

Well the fender clips aren't a huge no no. I just ordered one that straps on the bottom (I have a splitter so that won't work) and it has about 10 places that they expect me to tape little pieces of Velcro under my hood, on the header panel and Velcro it. I show this car, I can't have 10 Velcro strips just hanging out for no reason. I'm looking for something thats very simple to attach.

It'll only be used for trips so not worried about paint fade.
