I'd love to see 3999 lbs or less... But I'm still going to buy it if it is 4200. Especially given all of Fbodfather's comments.

Now - you don't have to believe me -

But for those who know me - TRUST ME - this car is gonna blow you away - ESPECIALLY when you get it on a road course.

I don't care if it weighs 4,500 pounds (...........well - OK -- weight is our enemy, so I guess I need to be careful of making that claim.......)

..........BUT - I'm gonna serve up some words to a few people in a couple of months............

TRUST ME.

Meanwhile - we have not published a weight...........

Scott, can you make a comment on that recent picture of "Track Performance" hood with that "Front" opening?

Thanks!

Let's reserve judgment until Chevrolet officially announces a weight for the ZL1.

I guess CTS-V is a terrible car...

And - I guess there will be more ZL1s for the rest of us.

And - No...

As long as it can smack then let it stack flap jacks! (rare rhyming moment!)!

Send a message via AIM to DietCoke
Add 150 pounds of supercharger and misc oil/trans/diff coolers, then 75 pounds of iron rear end and stronger auto and bigger axles and heavy magnetic shock system to the 2010's weight.

4200? Yep.

According to scientific proportions a "bumblebee" is not supposed to be able to fly because it's body is too heavy compared to it's wings. I guess no one told the "bumblebee" it couldn't fly or if they did the "bumblebee" didn't listen. If the ZL1 weighs 5000 lbs. and can fly I'm still getting one. I give everyone at Chevrolet working on this Camaro ZL! a BIG THUMBS UP!!!! I can't wait until next spring!
