Just put the VMAX TB on

Just got done throwing on the new throttle body. I was kinda skeptical at first if it would really make a difference. It was probably the easiest mod i've ever done. Just the 4 bolts and off and new one on. No CEL. Done.

Figured I would take it for a spin, went to pull out of my driveway, started easing out the clutch and man it just started spinning the tires . I'm pretty impressed for a simple bolt on its add one of the most noticeable improvements. VMAX =

150 bucks and they send you a ported TB. Once you get theirs you take yours off and send back. I think the core charge is 150 dollars? I can't recall.

The core charge is usually credited the day he receives your TB back.

SC2150 is very easy to deal with

A mod that will barely show up on the dyno isnt going to make you magically spin tires.

Glad you got your TB VanquisherSS and like it so far.

The normal cost is $149 for the TB, $15 for shipping and a $200 refundable core fee. In this case is a new TB which carries a $50 upcharge.

Thanks.

That number does include intake manifolds also, but yes it is a sequential numbering system for VMax. I keep track of each serial number for each customer I sell a unit to.

So that I am clear on this, its 200 for the new TB, plus 15 shipping, plus 200 for core which will get reimbursed once my old one gets sent to you? Making it in reality 415 for a new ported TB till you send in your old one, but if you wanted to keep your own its 415 bucks. Why not have a local shop port it out? Just trying to make sense of it all as I am having 3500 bucks worth of goodies put on my baby, and the TB was something I have been debating for the last month or so.

Thanks
