Will a V8 GMPP exhaust fit a V6?

I was able to find a used GMPP exhaust from a V8 and thought I'd give it a try on my V6. Will this fit and if so, are there any issues on the install? I'm not interested in spending a ton on another aftermarket exhaust but figured if this added a little to my V6's sound I would give it a shot. Thanks for the info.

GMPP exhaust is an axle back slip-on. The V6 pipes are 2.25" at the point of attachment, while the V8 is 2.5".

You can buy adaptors at the local auto part store for cheap and clamp them in place, but since the pipes aren't straight for very long in that area, it could get complicated and require alot of trial and error.

However, it should be no issue at your local muffler shop to have them welded on.

Totally possible. I bought a v8 GMPP off a local for $100. He was just looking to get them out of his garage. Hooked them up at a local muffler shop for like $75. They look WAY better than stock, are lighter, and sound WAY better. The stock is almost like driving with a silencer. The GMPP wakes the whole car up.
