Made a tunnel brace, lets see yours
Fabbed up a new tunnel brace today because I needed more exhaust clearance and the flimsy factory one needed an upgrade

couple questions, what kind of metal did you use? is that paint or powder coat? is your car lowered, if so any issues with ground clearance? your price sounds fair and i'd be interested if you have the time to whip up another one. thanks!

I made this one with stuff I had lying around, its 1/2 pipe (ID) , about 1/16th wall. My bender tends to make much more even bends using this than it does thin wall tubing, it is plenty strong for this application and it is much cheaper to buy in small quantities. It is painted, I have 2 coats primer, 2 coats color, and 2 coats of clear on it Car is not lowered but I plan to soon so I built it with that in mind. It defiantly hangs down further than stock but I don't see it being a problem. I can get a side pic of just how low it is. If your interested I can try to whip up another when I have time.

It will definitely be a scraping point, when going over bumps. Once you lower, it will be even worse. LT's tend to hang a bit lower than stock but they are near the wheels so they have the advantage of going up and down with the wheels. Same goes for the rear end. This being positioned in the middle of the car will be the low point when centered over a bump. Speed bumps come to mind.
It does look cool though.

Very creative. Not to mention not spending a lot of money.
