Went to the Chevy dealership tonight and he confirmed that there will be a 'Webinar' on the 24th and that they would know more after that. He also told me that they were were looking at a $25,000 markup. Two weeks ago it was $5,000 to $10,000 markup. It is possible to be $100,000 by January. Not bad for a dealership that advertises nothing above MSRP.

And this is the reason why I don't think I'll be getting one until 2013 model year....

I have spoken with 3 dealers....all mentioning market adjustment before the price has even been officially announced.

It annoys the hell out of me and there is no way I will pay it

#1. We are passionate about camaro...and "money comes..." "money goes....."

Don't pay it. If everyone will REFUSE to pay markup then they (dealers) will sit on the cars... They do not want to pay $500 a month or more for a car(s)

If you really want one now, keep checking with other dealerships. You will find a dealership that will work with you.

No news yet but intend to be calling Monday for an update. It's getting close... You a-holes actually have me wanting and thinking about moving up... even though I have an attachment to my SIM SS/RS and keeping both... not an option!
