Cammed SS vs 350z turbo
There setting this up for me, hopefully tonight. Want to know what should I expect. I'm not really worried at all. He could only pull half a car on an M3 which I massacred by 5+ cars.
He's running stock internals so is only boosting 4-6psi. What rwhp numbers you think he's seeing. I know at 8.5psi he's 4xxrwhp. I'm guessing he's >400rwhp boosting that little. He also suffers from traction like I do. This will be done at our airstrip tonight. Rolling start in 2nd, at around 3k rpm. I think I have him by a long shot. Any input? |

Yes you do. At 6 psi he is not much of a threat. If you miss a shift, twice, maybe. Get some video damn it.

If you have the HP to push the weight, I wouldn't sweat it. Remember, the 350's are not that much lighter. They pack some weight themselves. My prediction: you smoke him.

What year z is it? That matters. The last 350z with the vq35HR (rather than DE) responds better to mods and will make considerably more power, rev higher, etc.

No idea what's done to car.
Only thing I know is he was only able to pull half a car on a M3 that I smoked by 5+ cars. And that he is running a twin turbo setup but only boosting 4psi with a peak of 6 because of his stock internals. |

Id say you got him, for being an asian car, the Z isnt all that light, with your cam, etc, the previous performance against the M3, probably good to go, get someone to video it with their phone or something. |

All my races have been video'd by phone. Only problem is getting my friends (who are just my car buddies that meet up on Thursday) to send it to me. They are beyond worthless. |

In for this one. I ran a boosted 06 Z with my stock blower. I walked him pretty bad. He was at 7psi and made ~430. I think youll beat him pretty bad... unless he has added something or changed his setup. Good luck!

Well
He didn't show up. At the last minute he texted my buddy saying he wanted nothing to do with me. Said I had killed the m3 bad enough and that he knew he'd lose. :/ |
