Ill wait to reserve full judgement until I see them in person, but going by the pictures I have seen, I am not impressed. Ugly IMO both trucks. The Sierra looks better though.

IMO the current generation is much better looking.

Wha huh? For the 1st time the Silverado actually looks better than the Sierra. But that's just my opinion. Either looks a lot better than the F150.

Wow. Talk about a "WTF did you just say?" moment...

I was just showing the pics to the wife and she said "why don't you trade in your truck and get one of those?" (currently a paid off 2010 Sierra crew cab with 23K miles).

Hmmm. If I weren't angling to try and get a ZL1 convertible within 6 months or so, and only owning the current truck for 2 and a half years, I might just do that. You never know, I may do it later next year anyway.

Anxiously awaiting a three way Ford/Ram/GM comparison test.

Well, they are kinda different, not really feeling them. The interior seems to be somewhat of an improvement, but the exterior on both is kind of eh, with the GMC being slightly better than the Silverado

I'm lovin' the interior, but the exterior not so much on the Silverado.

Yep, evolutionary seems to be the better fitting word than revolutionary for this one, but there are some nice changes to be had. I think there is some good stuff here, along with some just-OK stuff. As for the styling, I like them, but I'm not wowing over them. Everyone seems to like the GMC more, but as for me, I'm not so sure.

Really looking forward to finding out more on powertrain details and if the thing has lost much weight. The article seems to say it gained weight in the powertrain areas, but that was "offset" by the new high tensile-stength steel. Hopefully it is a net loss.
