Camaros are fairly inexpensive. If it was a 458 or something then I would understand lol

I want a camaro badly but not 40k bad. I'll wait to pounce on a v6 when the price is close to 20k. No way I'd spend so much on any asset that depreciates so much. I don't get how so many buy these super expensive cars?

Technically, you should lease a new econobox (or buy used) that will exceed the federal mileage allowance and go to school "required for your job". I made money driving a Chevy Sprint that way. The tax deduction exceeded operating cost. But, as you become an old fart, you like to have nice shiit. And you still write it off.

I can show you houses for that price in the city I live in now and in Birmingham, AL. Here's the catch. You'll want to take everything of value with you every single time you leave, you won't want to park that car there, and when you are there you'll need to sleep with one eye open.
Nice neighborhoods.

Because they are awesome, and I can? I really don't know what you want to hear except that when you leave the rice lifestyle and get that V6(I assume Camaro) you'll get it. Car shouldn't be looked at as an asset from a financial stand point anyway. Tell that to the Smart Car people. It seems their philosophy is the less we give you, the more you pay.

Then you don't want it bad enough. Do you spend money for fun? I do and the Camaro has provided plenty of that. Does it depreciate? Sure. Worth it? You bet. I don't spend my money on anything else. $20,000 will get you some sort of Camaro in a few years.

The 2014 "Stripper" Mini Cooper is $19,950 MSRP. The 2014 "Stripper" Camaro is $23,555 MSRP. I'm not seeing a huge difference, especially considering how anemic the MC is.

I had a new v6 base down to nearly 22k otd recently. They wouldn't quite get to my 22k otd so I left and will return when gm is ready to deal.

Then stand by it. I have the money to afford it and still live comfortably. I don't see the problem with that. I guess stand on the sideline and wait for one? I'll have some fun for you when driving mine in the meantime.

Welcome to 2014, where Fed mandated equipment, testing, taxes, and legal costs are nearly 1/2 the cost of a new car. Many people WANT a cheap new car, but your government outlaws them. How cheap is a brand new car? Get ready to cry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tata_Nano DOH! EDIT, $3000 and 55 mpg, seats 4 and goes 65mph. Sure it's a piece of shit, but what if you WANT a piece of shit? Too bad.
