ZL1 Certificate

Took delivery of my 2014 Camaro ZL1 Convertible in September 2013 2013 and have been trying to get my Certificate of Authenticity since learning of it on the forum last January. First, I filled out the request posted by "fbodfather" and after no response I contacted customer service. They told me I would see my certificate in 4-6 weeks. I have since talked with customer service reps. no less than 8-10 times and continue to hear 4-6 weeks. The last agent promised I'd receive the paperwork by the first week in December. Time will tell.

I'm really disappointed in Chevrolet's customer service response. This seems like a continuing sage. I owned a new 2008 Corvette Z06 whose battery would drain down after 2 weeks of no use . Chevrolet Engineers told me there was no fix and that I needed to buy a Battery Tender. Since I already owned a Battery Tender and I refused to own a car that couldn't stay charged I traded in for a new 2011 FORD Superduty F-250 diesel truck that worked with no problems.

Now Chevrolets lack of response for my simple request is rapidly driving me to the 2015 Dodge Charge Hellcat. It's just a matter of principle.

Dennis Grieve,

I'm extremely sorry to hear how you feel about the situation with your ZL1 certificate request. It sounds as though you may have a case open for this current concern, and if so, feel free to contact me privately so I can look into this matter further. Chevrolet relies heavily on loyal customers and we'd like to do all we can to assist you as much as possible.

Sincerely,

William R.

If you just bought it in September, you still have a ways to wait....It's a Minimum of 90 days...I started emailing them at 90 days and it took another 60 to get it.

Yahooooooo! We received our Certificate yesterday. I had given up all hope. Better late than never as they say. Oh, car was purchased new over TWO YEARS AGO., 27 months ago more or less. I thought they were full size, 8.5 X 11". But it's only half size. They must of changed them from the originals I saw posted here years ago.

I wonder if the dealer has something to do with the inconsistency in theses getting to buyers. I bought my car from an out of state dealer and did nothing to get the certificate yet it arrived withing weeks. I bought last March
