The wife has heard more that a few since owning for almost a year now but a couple come to mind.

"That's not a car, that's a piece of art!" from a guy at the gas station.

The wife comes out from the mall to see a women and her early teenage daughter walking around practically drooling on themselves over the car. She walks up and starts talking to them and they ask if they could take some pictures. They snap a bunch of photos with the daughter standing next to the car etc. My wife asks the daughter if she she would like to sit in it. You would have thought they just won the lottery!! She sat in it for a few while the mom snapped more photos. They couldn't have been happier!

It is absolutely amazing the reaction these cars still get from people. I think we get a thumbs up, a stare, a comment of some sort almost daily with this thing. Great job Chevy!!!

People tell me it sounds "mean" all the time. Then they ask me to "burn em". I try to explain how much 22" tires cost and they get mad and forget about the car... so its both good and bad.

04/10: "Beautiful car! I wish my daughter was dating you instead of a guy with a Mustang."

I laughed and responded, "you can't always win I guess." He was like "...yea..." with a puzzled look.
I saw the guy again a few days later and he was in uniform driving a marked Crown Vic'. Oops.

I always get compliments when I get fast food. One time a girl at McDonalds gave me a free big mac with my meal and she wrote on the wrapper "For the beast".

As someone already stated, the best compliments are from kids. I love it when i drive by a school bus and all the kids are staring out of the windows at her.

Heres a kind of funny story. A couple weeks ago, my sister calls me and asks if I was at a certain place that day. It's a place where they host childrens' birthday parties. I said yeah, took the kids to a birthday party , why? She said her friend who works there had posted pictures on facebook of himself with a green camaro saying "check out my new whip". She said she replied "dude, I'm 99% sure thats my brother's car!" I thought it was funny that random strangers were taking pictures like that, LOL. That was the first time I had ever been there and still have never met this kid (my sister is a college student 18 years younger than me).

the i remember the most: 1st day, kids in neighbor hood yelling that car is "sick", guy @work saying its the baddest car he's ever seen. girl saying that the car really turned her on.

I had a guy pull up next to me in a Honda Civic and made the "Grey Poupon roll-down-your-window" motion. My wife rolled down the passenger window, he says
"Wow, awesome car, wanna trade?"
I said "Thanks, but no, thanks."
He then said, "How 'bout if I give you the car AND my girlfriend?!"
I still said "No offense, but still no."
We all laughed (except my wife until we pulled away!)
