That's funny, i open my hood every time i pull my car into the Garage then i lock the doors with the hood open all night and i never get any type of message like that on my dic?

That happened to me once wjen i had the LT but i was outside the car and locked it and pulled handle. Weird

That message just means that your alarm went off. Could've been anything.

I've actually had people walk up to the car and attempt to open the door while I was sitting in a restaurant (yes by the window) a few feet away. When this happens I push the panic button and it scares them away. I have never seen that message though. Nice to know we have that too.

I got that alarm a lot, when my trunk sensor was malfunctioning. The BCM thought that the trunk was opening when the alarm was set and flagged a theft attempt on the DIC.
