Im going to be 28 by the time they come out...

Whats with all the students buying nice new cars... I was poor when I was in school...hell, i was poor for a while after school too...

Funny thing is that im just getting to the point that I can start thinking about buying a house, I know the smart thing would be buying a house, but the cool thing would be a camaro.

I'm 17 right now.. i'll be 18 when they are released. I'll end up waiting for the convertible so i'll be turning 19 when I buy mine. I have to pay for mine but my parents are willing to pay for the insurance until I get out of school.

i'm 27 currently driving and loving a modded cobalt SS/SC. As long as it will offer a LS3 i'm all in. Though a G8 GXP is tempting.

37 Here. Trying to talk the fiancee (wife in 3 weeks!) into the Big Dog. Barring that, a base V8 for sure.

36 yrs old. Hope to get the base V8 model as soon as it hits the dealers. But, I need to spend about $6000 on my '68 to get it back into respectable condition. I've owned it for 18 years so I think it gets first priority.

19 almost 20 here (aug. 24th) I hope to get one right after release, but i don't think it will actually happen until i'm 21-22 y/o. College has been rough for me and i'm no where closer to graduating now than i was when i graduated HS in 2006. No money to my name right now really, but i do get a 1-2% discount because i work for FedEx! can't wait to use that!!! i'll most likelt opt for the V6 either way though... 306 HP is definately enough for my right foot... i think i might get a little too frisky in a 550hp car that weighs 3700 lbs...

I'm 46. I've had Camaros since I was 17. A '67, then a '71, then a '68 RS, then a '68 RS/SS - back in the days when you could buy them pretty cheap! More recently is my 10-sec LS1 2000 Camaro SS. Soon as I figure out how to make my wheels-up shot an avatar, I'll post it.

Will I buy a new Camaro? I had planned on it and was ready to buy a 2008 as I thought they were due out.

Now that I'm seeing more pictures, I think I'll wait. They need to fix the styling first. The Mustang is gorgeous and looks like the old Mustangs. This new Camaro? It hardly resembles any Camaro I've ever seen. The nose slopes down too much and the grille is too deep. It reminds me of a 1974 Toyota Celica ST.

Maybe the real car won't look like the pictures. We'll see. I had $20 grand for a down payment. That's now at $16k and I'm looking at hot-rodding my truck and doing a frame-off on my Super Bee. If they don't hurry up with this Camaro, I'll not have the money for it - that is assuming they fix it and make it look like a 1969 model!

First off, your SS is amazing and it must be amazing to drive!! My dreams was always to own a black '02 SS...needless to say, you own my dream!

As far as the looks are concerned, if you're disappointed now, you probably won't like it when it bows. I mean, wait until you see it in person, but I personally think that we are looking at (as far as the exterior is concerned) something that is VERY VERY close to the finished product. And, if I may interject my opinion, I see a very strong cues to the 1st Gen. Specifically the grill area and the greenhouse. But again, that's just my opinion.

If they don't hurry up with this Camaro, I'll not have the money for it - that is assuming they fix it and make it look like a 1969 model!

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or if you're joking or what, but if you're looking for a '69 with modern tech, suspension, powertrain, etc. you should take a look into getting a RetroRides Camaro. Check them out at http://www.retrorides.com

I'm not so sure of that. The more I look at the pictures, the less I am impressed; but I think once I see one in person, I'll be more impressed.

Like Loader, I'd like it better if it looked more like a first gen.

Neato! How much do you think they get for a basic turn-key?
