There needs to be more Camaros in Italy
Just sayin'. I've been in northern Italy now for a week and have 3 more weeks to go for business; man I miss my car. I am currently driving an Opel Astra station wagon (I know, "performance" at it's best) and would really love to see how the Camaro would fair in these roundabouts and twisty roads. I've seen plenty of scenic places that made me think "hmm, this would be a great place to take a picture of the Camaro."
The roads are not as narrow as I imagined and it would be nice to see another Chevy that isn't a Spark. Speaking of roads, the highways here are not riddled with hidden police officers trying to catch speeders. Italy uses cameras at certain points of the highway to determine if you are speeding (normally about 10km apart). I was told (as a way to get around the ticket), you can drive as fast as you want as long as you stop somewhere in between the checkpoint to offset the time, pretty useful info for when and if I ever get my car out here. Oh well, next time I come out here I will just plan ahead and have my car shipped.

For one it wouldn't fit on some of those local roads, I guess it's a cost and practicality thing?

Since you're in Northern Italy, go visit the Stelvio Pass. Top Gear calls it the best driving road in the world. Opal Astra aside, it's still got 4 wheels and a steering wheel. Could be a good time! Post pics!
