Hello everyone, After months of just sitting back and being a guess I have bought my Camaro 1LT!

I've learned the in's and out's of this car reading over all kinds of post! I now know how it feels to have everyone snap they necks to look at me roll by! Cops look at me like they want to pull me over even when I'm standing still!

I'm starting tomorrow, Going to get the AAC 8K HID Kit, AAC Fog light LED, Escort Passport 9500ix, And AAC Halo's! From my AAC dealer here!

I was told something before I left the dealership. That if I have any mod made or aftermarket parts installed that it has to be done by a GM certified person or shop. Or I void my warranty. Is this true or has anyone hear of this? Cause I want to start with lighting (tomorrow), cosmetics, and then bolt ons.

changing the lighting won't void your warranty...you can do that yourself, or have the people at ACC do that....the only thing i know of that can void your warranty is if you throw in a supercharger...anything else you do, they have to prove that the aftermarket part you had installed made a factory part malfunction...if i'm wrong, somebody correct me

Yes, what he said. They have to prove the mod caused the problem, not sure how hard they have to try to prove it.

they hardly ever can to my knowledge...i think they do it to piss people off and hold off on the warranty work while they do an investigation...i dunno why they care so much. some dealers wont though
