More custom painted pieces from Lupe

Ordered some interior pieces and a custom fuse box lid from Lupe at River City Creations & Lighting.

Per usual, everything turned out fantastic.

The interior pieces are the same color as the plastic door and dash panels (carbon flash metallic) accented in victory red.

Thanks everyone.

I had to send Lupe the trim piece that goes around the 4 gauge cluster otherwise the rest are new.

In the course of all this, I found out a new shifter bezel doesn't come with the 4 clips that hold the screws that fasten the gauge cluster to the bezel. I had to transfer the clips from the original bezel to the new, which turned out to be the most difficult part of the process.

I asked Lupe why the new bezel didn't automatically come with the clips and he told me GM sells them separately for $20. Anything to generate revenue I guess.

How did you get the bowtie on the steering wheel off?

Or is that vinyl?

It's vinyl that I bought from a Fast-Signs shop.

You don't want a real heavy piece because you need to be able to see the outline of the bow tie underneath it.

I applied a piece slightly larger than the bow tie and worked it in with my thumb and a vinyl squeegee.

Due to my less than stellar cutting skills, It took me about 10 attempts to get it trimmed to where I thought it looked OK.
