ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS CAM PLEASE

I was wondering if anybody here on the forum has heard or done any looking inot of Texas Speed and Performance 235/239 camshaft. i called tsp and they say its the biggest cam to go with without modify anything major.Any input would be great thanks.

Do you have an L99 (auto) or LS3 (manual).

What do they mean by "anything major"

Ls3 I think they said without it hitting the piston. correct me if I'm wrong.

This all depends on what your expectations are for the cam. You need to decide what is most important to you. You need to prioritize power, sound , driveability and how well it plays with your current powertrain as well as how well it can be tuned. There are alot of cams out there and they all differ.

thats a bad ass cam. but like stated above you need to decide what the intent for the car is. if your wanting something streetable/daily driver go with the 229/236.

That's a good cathedral port cam. Better choices for a rectangular port head design.
