Polishing new paint
So I should get my hood back from the dealership by the end of the week, some trucks on the interstate decided to let go of rocks and my hood suffered the beatings.
Anyways, I saw that my dealership uses PPG paints, I know that the quality won't be the same as factory fresh, but as far as polishing/buffing/etc goes, should I treat it any different than I did before? |

Ok one more question, if anyone reads this again hah.
The guys at the dealership said to give it some time before applying sealant to it because it's a water-based paint. But they didn't remember exactly how long (I was talking to a desk jockey) so does anyone know the time-frame for PPG paint? |

So I had my trunk lid repainted because of the usual problem when replacing the stock spoiler, got it home and noticed a few light scratches here and there, probably my blanket wasn't as soft as I thought, anyway can I polish it with my pc and Adams fine machine polish? I'm not going to seal or wax it for a month or more, just want the scratches out. Thanks
