I wound up getting the Z26 Street Warrior performance upgrade kit. I got it installed today.

I have tried many kinds of brake pads as well, and from reading this tread there are some that I have not tried yet... I started with stock then went to red stuff, which I have on my much lighter Z4. At the track day there faded pretty fast and after about 3 seasons it looked like someone put a blowtorch to them. They were literally not recognizable as my brake pads. I even thought that my mechanic switched them on me... After that I went to yellow stuff and loved the bite they gave. When I upgraded to Cadillac's 4 piston brembo calipers I was sent a set of power stop brake pads. Those pads felt like they were made of soap, I quickly went back to yellowstuff and even though they can be noisy at times they have a strong feel and no fade so far.
