lf3 fuel pump part #

hi - anyone know the part# for the lf3 hpfp... has anyone ever founf out if the lf4 hpfp is an option or not?

I dont think it works-pretty sure Gretchen had to have his built with a Ferrari part or something of the sort

hi Derek - I spoke to Aaron over @ GPI and lf3 works but you have to measure the difference between in height between the lifters(the lf3 wont fit) and add a hardened spacer on it to make up the difference for it to work... we have plenty of injector at #109 lbs but without getting more volume from the hpfp looks like e85 is not going to work

Yeah i think that is why Gretch had to add that Ferrari part.

Ill be watching this! Ill do some research as well

The part number I had was 12658270

its still listed on GMpartscenter.net and shows its for the LF3 Vsport

Cant find the part number for the LF4 pump... would probably have to go to the dealer to look at diagrams to find it.

testing it now with e85 and then pump gas.... initial feedback with e85 is not good, the 30% fueling margain with e85 might be too much to overcome... it has made improvements with pump gas in past and I was on the lean side above 6300rpms and using methanol to carry it the rest of the way.. so will test that next
