What are the cons of having just HIDs

So I have a 2010 1LT no RS package. Are there any cons of having just HIDs installed ?

Appreciate your help, also if from the miami area any good places to go get them installed.

Your lights are brighter so some people might think you have brights on. I've seen posts where Camaro5 drivers have been flashed by oncoming headlamps.

I'm installing some bixenon HIDs from a site vendor when the weather allows it.

Take a look through these two threads. Just the HID kit is better than Halogen but they don't hold a stick to the HID projectors.

HID thrown in halogen sucks. People just think its better because they think it looks cooler or something. Ever hear of a louder exhaust making your car feel faster when it really isnt?? HID in reflector is the same thing. The biggest con of HID in your housings will be blinding other drivers as well as it being illegal. And you will look like a ricer in a civic IMO because its a half assed way to do HID.

This is the legal and proper way to do HID.

if you do decide to do a HID swap, just make sure to aim your headlights farther down towards the ground. you'll keep most of the glare out of peoples' eyes & be less likely to get pulled over for driving with your highs on (ask me & PQ how we found out it's a moving violation in FL )

the best place to get the work done is in your driveway.

As long as you point them down more there really isn't a problem.
