What were you upgrading?
Is the dealer taking care of something for warranty issues?

You don't have to get the work done at a dealership.

Send a message via AIM to camaro4mybday
if you go with pedders its not aftermarket its gm performance parts, thus its a dealer part check out the pedders line of products, talk to wrenched, or justice pete they can tell you what is gm approved

Thanks to our partnership with GM, Pfadt Racing offers the largest catalog of GMPP certified parts for the Gen5 Camaro. All parts are available through dealers and the GMPP catalog, although the dealer may have to look information up in their computer as the print is sometimes out of date. A quick rundown of Pfadt GMPP certified parts are:

Adjustable Rear Tie Rod Ends
Adjustable Camber Kit
Poly Control Arm Bushings
Spherical Front Trailing Arm Bushings
Upgraded Rear Trailing Arms
Lower Rear Control Arm Bushings
Rear Tie Rod Bushings
Rear Trailing Arm bushings
Rear Upper Control Arm Bushings
Solid Subframe Bushings
Ride Height and damping adjustable Coilovers

As far as the original poster is concerned, it's tough to say exactly what he needs to replace since we're not the tech looking at the damage. Many of the bushing parts we offer will plug into new control arms if they were damaged in his original wreck, and our coilovers will certainly turn his car into a much more confident handling machine.

If you are not familiar with the SSX, it was built by GM to point out some of the performance suspension components available from your local Chevy dealer's parts counter that can be installed in their service department. You definitely have some options.

The most important thing is to get your car fixed properly. It should leave the shop as good as or better than new. Please post some pictures of the damage. It will help us provide information that is relevant to your individual situation.
