whats the trick to getting the stock hoses to fit properly? or will i need to buy new hose? stock seem stiff and fiberglass or plastic like

You have to cut the stock hardline. Both ends of it have to be utilized, with hose between the ends of the stock line to the can.

Opened it up again today... Looks like a tablespoon or two caught after about 400 miles since being installed.

I emptied the Apex can today @ 1528 miles, so about 1475 since it was installed.
I drained out 1.2 oz by weight, I found a neat conversion calculator online that converted my weight into fl oz of petroleum based oil to 1.306 fl oz... Pretty amazing for less than 1500 miles of driving I plan to keep this bottle and record oz caught, mark the level, date, and mileage of each time I dump it... We'll see how much oil is caught over the next year or two... |
